IBPS PO Educational Qualification
Eligibility condition to appear in IBPS CRP exam is as simple as that of having graduation degree from any stream of Government of India approved University. Such a candidate having obtained equivalent qualification approved by Central Government may also apply for appearing in this examination. The applicants should possess a valid mark sheet / Degree Certificate confirming that they are a graduate on the date of registration for this exam, and should mention the percentage of marks secured in Graduation while registering for the IBPS Bank-PO exam. Computer Literacy: Familiarity with computer systems is required for the job as well as to attempt the IBPS PO exam which is held online.
Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants
A candidate seeking to apply for the IBPS CRP/Bank PO Examination should be one of the following:

Provisional Allotment
The provisional allocation of the selected candidate is announced on the official website. The IBPS Banks are allocated as per candidates' preference which is given during online application.

IBPS PO 2025 Exam Pattern
IBPS provided individual sectional timing for every section in the preliminary exam. The IBPS PO exam (CRP XIII) for the recruitment of candidates will be conducted through an online written test in two parts: Tier 1 or IBPS Preliminary Exam and Tier 2 or IBPS Mains Exam. This is followed by an interview process through face-to-face interviews.

The IBPS PO pre-exam is 20 minutes long for each of the sections and will be held online. It comprises 3 sections with 100 questions and a maximum of 100 marks. In the IBPS PO pre-exam, there is a negative marking and 0.25 marks are reduced for every incorrect answer. The candidates need to qualify in all of the three tests by achieving minimum cut-off marks to be determined by IBPS. The sufficient number of candidates in every class as determined by IBPS as per requirement will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.
IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2025
IBPO PO Main test is also an online test, it consists of 5 (4+1) sections worth a total score of 200+25 marks and a total time of 180+30 minutes. IBPS will organize a descriptive paper in its mains test for choosing candidates for the position of Probationary Officer. The sections should be attempted in the same sequence and the time assigned as required at the time of the test. A candidate has to pass the preliminary and mains examinations to appear for the interview process.

Penalty for Incorrect Responses: There is a penalty for incorrect responses filled in the Objective Tests of Preliminary as well as Mains exams. An incorrect response given by the candidate to an objective type question will result in a penalty of one-fourth of the marks allotted to the question. For instance, 0.25 marks shall be deducted for an incorrect response to a question that is of 1 mark. There is no penalty for not answering a question, i.e. if the candidate doesn't mark any answer.
IBPS PO Interview
The candidates shortlisted for mains exam are invited for a face to face interview, which is of a maximum of 100 marks. The minimum pass mark in the interview is 40% (35% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
The interview session is typically 15-20 minutes in duration, during which a panel of bank authorities interviews the candidates on themselves, banking industry, general awareness, current affairs, etc. Candidates should be smartly dressed, confident and take all necessary documents to the interview.
Final merit list is made based on marks secured in main examination and interview. Final marks are computed by IBPS assigning weightage to marks awarded in main examination and interview in the ratio of 80:20 respectively.

IBPS PO Exam Centre
IBPS PO exam is held online across many centres across India and the candidate can indicate their preferences while submitting the online application. Nevertheless, in case of non-availability of seats at preferred venues, IBPS might assign an exam centre different from the ones opted by a candidate. IBPS is the only authority to add or delete an exam centre and candidates cannot make a request for change in the exam centre. Any misconduct at the exam centre can result in cancellation of candidature.
IBPS PO Pre-Exam Training
The Nodal Banks/ Participating Organizations can also organize pre-examination training for SC/ST/Religious Minority Community candidates at some centres as per guidelines released by the Government of India. This is an orientation session in which candidates are informed about kinds of questions, general errors, time management tips, do's and don'ts, rudimentary tricks and tactics by training institute experts. The goal is to create a level playing ground for students belonging to weaker sections who are unable to avail of coaching and acquaint them with commons elements and the hiring process of the exam.

IBPS PO 2025 Result
IBPS shall declare the results after the completion of every phase of the Examination. The Final Merit state-wise and category-wise list shall be drawn up in descending order of the marks obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination and interview.
